Audition Call for The Hungriest Woman in the World
*Pencil Kit Productions’ mandate includes representing and investing in a diverse set of artists. We encourage applications from all passionate performers.
Pencil Kit Productions is now casting for the first show of it’s 17/18 Season: The Hungriest Woman in the World by Shannon Bramer.
Restless and in search of something, Aimee goes to see a play alone when her husband Rob refuses to join her. Her evening at the theatre tumbles into absurdity with dancing octopuses, overly intimate strangers and drunken mistakes. Curious and surprising, The Hungriest Woman in the World is a thoughtful exploration of loneliness and Art.

Rob—a man aged 35+ passionate about code and systems of understanding, aloof but loves deeply, skeptical of musical theatre
Nathan— man aged 25+ a passionate student of life and theatre: flamboyant, wild, funny, charming, likes to wear high-heels around the house
Julie—woman aged 25+ also a passionate student of life and theatre: effervescent, beautiful, sparkly small-town soul, takes in strays, almost went to veterinary school
LD— man or woman aged 40+ —has an authoritative voice. knows they are right about everything. sees into souls. intimidates the other technicians at the theatre.
Rehearsal dates: Wednesday-Friday, 10am-2pm starting October 25, 2017.
Performance Dates: December 6-17, 2017 at the Theatre Passe Muraille Backspace
